Terms, privacy, and what we actually do with your data
The plain-English version first, because that is the part most people actually need. The full documents follow.
The short version: your campaign’s data belongs to you. We do not sell it, rent it, share it with other organizations, or make it available to anyone on the other side. You can export all of it at any time, and you can delete it.
We store it on American infrastructure, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and write every meaningful change to a permanent audit log. We do not use your data to train AI models. We bill monthly, we publish our prices, and you can cancel or pause without calling anyone.
Everything below is the longer, more careful statement of those same commitments. If the two ever appear to disagree, tell us — that is a bug in our writing, and we will fix it.

Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of FreedomVote. They cover your account and who may use it, acceptable use of the platform, your responsibilities for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you upload and the messages you send, billing and cancellation, our service commitments, limitations of liability, and how disputes are handled.

Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices and rights you have. The commitments that matter most to campaigns and committees are summarized in the questions below and stated as promises on Our Pledge.
What we collect
Account information for the people you invite; the campaign data you choose to put into the product (voter records, donors, volunteers, events, files); billing information handled by our payment processor; and ordinary technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with other campaigns, committees, parties, vendors or data brokers for their own purposes. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not run advertising against it.
Your rights
Export everything, correct anything, and request deletion. If you are subject to a state privacy law that gives you additional rights, we honor those too — ask and we will walk you through it on the phone rather than making you file a form.
Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access so a precinct captain cannot see the donor ledger, a permanent audit trail of data changes, and least-privilege access for our own staff. If we ever have an incident that affects your data, we will tell you what happened, what we know, and what we are doing — promptly and in plain language.
Compliance is yours, and we help
FreedomVote helps you track filing deadlines, keep report-ready records, and apply the right disclaimers to printed material. That is assistance, not legal advice. You remain responsible for complying with federal, state and local election law, and we would always rather you check a specific question with your election authority or your attorney than guess.
Plain answers
Do you sell or share my data with anyone?
No. We do not sell, rent, license or share your voter contacts, donor records, volunteer rosters or files with third parties for their own use. The only parties who touch your data are the service providers we need to run the product — payment processing, email and text delivery, cloud hosting — and they act on our instructions under contract.
Who can see my campaign’s data inside FreedomVote?
The people you invite, at the access level you give them, plus a small number of our own staff who need it to support you or keep the system running. Every access and every change is written to a permanent audit log with the person, the time and the action.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your campaign data is not used to train our models or anyone else’s. The AI assistants inside the product work on your data to do your work, and that is the end of it.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export everything before you go — voters, donors, volunteers, events, files — in standard formats. After cancellation we retain your data for a limited window so you can change your mind or come back for the next cycle, then delete it on request or on schedule.
Where is my data stored?
On American infrastructure, in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
